Giovanni Tristacci has a solid national and international career in the field of opera, being a constant presence in the main opera houses of Brazil as well as in several houses across Latin America and Europe. Among his most notable roles are: the Prince in The Love for Three Oranges (Prokofiev), Faust in Faust (Gounod), Tamino in The Magic Flute (Mozart), Candide in Candide (Bernstein), Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (Gounod), the Duke in Rigoletto (Verdi), Narraboth in Salome (R. Strauss), Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini), Alfredo in La Traviata (Verdi), and Rodolfo in La Bohème (Puccini), among others.

He has performed in major venues such as Bozar (Brussels), Sala São Paulo, Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, Palácio das Artes (Belo Horizonte), Theatro da Paz (Belém, Pará), Teatro Amazonas (Manaus, Amazonas), and others. He has also sung in several countries including Belgium, Spain, Italy, China, and Colombia.

Tristacci holds a Bachelor’s degree in Voice from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), a postgraduate degree in opera singing from the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain), and further specialization from the Plácido Domingo Center for Perfection in Valencia (Spain) and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels (Belgium). He has studied with renowned masters such as Eduardo Álvares (Brazil), José van Dam (Belgium), Eduard Giménez (Spain), Jocelyne Dienst (France), Helmuth Deutsch (Germany), Roger Vignoles (UK), and Isabel Maresca (São Paulo).
