Hiroki Hashimoto (橋本大輝) is a Japanese folk singer and Tsugaru shamisen player from Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. At 13, he began studying under his father, Yasuhiro Hashimoto, learning Tsugaru shamisen and taiko drums. Hashimoto-san has performed as a backing musician for artists like Aki Yashiro, including Yoshi Ikuzo's 35th Anniversary of Entertainment Career Commemoration Performance.
He received the Excellence Award at the 10th Tsugaru Shamisen Competition hosted by the Japan Folk Song Association. In 2014, he released his debut folk album, Min'yō no Tsubasa. Hashimoto is a versatile performer, appearing on NHK television and radio, and is skilled in folk singing, shamisen, taiko, and zeni-daiko. His live shows often include audience-requested songs and feature traditional pieces like "Tsugaru Jongara Bushi" and "Kitakyushu Tankō Bushi."
