Hougaku Artists from Japan!
We have a very exciting update in the Waves of Harmony soundscape - we're honored to be joined by immensely talented performers of Biwa, Sho, and Gidayu Shamisen!
Under the experienced guidance of master studio engineer (and Tsugaru Shamisen Phenom) Reigen Fujii, Yumiko Tanaka (Gidayu Shamisen), Akiko Kubota (Biwa), and Hanako Nakamura (Sho) came together to record amazing tracks for a bundle of Waves of Harmony arrangements!
I've always loved the Biwa, Sho, and Gidayu Shamisen ever since I first heard them as a young teenager on LPs from the "world music" section of Logos Books, so it's a very meaningful treat to be able to incorporate these unique tones in the Waves of Harmony arrangements. Thanks to these talented musicians, the songs will be brought to a whole new level!
