Adam Stacey is a versatile musician and composer known for his work with experimental bands Estradasphere and Secret Chiefs 3. Originally from Valencia, California, he began his musical journey with accordion lessons at age seven and expanded his skills to include keyboards and percussion. In 2003, he moved to Santa Cruz and joined Estradasphere, contributing to their eclectic sound.
Stacey has performed extensively across the U.S., Europe, and Canada, collaborating with artists like Amanda Palmer and contributing to projects spanning genres from Romanian folk with Fishtank Ensemble to Zimbabwean marimba with Masanga. He earned a Bachelor of Music in Media Composition from California State University, Northridge, in 2014 and has since composed scores for film, theater, and other media. Currently residing in the Pacific Northwest, Stacey continues to engage in diverse musical collaborations.
