Toshihiro Fukushi (福士 豊桜), also known professionally as Yanagawa Toshihiro (梁川 埈浩), is a celebrated Japanese folk vocalist specializing in Tsugaru min’yō.
Known affectionately as “Chūno‑kun,” he began accompanying vocalists and teaching shamisen and min’yō, as seen in his Instagram posts. Currently active both as a performer and instructor, he has participated in prominent events such as the 15th-anniversary concert of the shamisen duo KIKI & KIKI, where he was praised for both his virtuosic shamisen and captivating singing. Videos of his live performances, including “Kan Matsuri” at Kioi Hall and his concert series “Chūno‑kun,” are available online and showcase his vibrant stage presence and mastery of traditional folk music.
